For sugartwist's first-ever featured designer, we can't help but be proud to show off Katie and Chandiss and the creations of i can.d... Both of these girls are not only outstandingly talented, but gorgeous to boot, meaning they're the perfect models to showcase their own work!

i can.d began as just a gleam in the eye of Katie Krause four years ago, when she began sewing her own costumes for her job as a go-go dancer. An immediate audience attraction developed for her designs, and she soon collaborated with fellow dancer Chandiss on a fashion show which was held at upscale Club Lotus in Denver... They got such great feedback from the show, they decided to officially launch their new line, featuring dance and club outfits, lingerie, and evening wear. Though Chandiss has since left i can.d to concentrate on solo pursuits, Katie continues to add new items to the line, and is busy taking i can.d to the next level.

In Katie's words, i can.d is a "fun and flirty clothing line dedicated to gals that love to have fun and be seen. Most items are very fitting using stretchy yet soft fabrics...fun stripes, and bright bold colors." Though she takes inspiration from the club scene (in London, especially) she's stayed original by not paying too much attention to any particular fashion designers. Her advice to aspiring fashion designers is "Just be original and creative... and be very motivated!"

There's a new web site in the works, icandfashion.com... which will be officially launched on May 24, 2005 at Club Vinyl in Denver.
