From the microscopic town of St. Francis, Kansas, 20-year-old Jenny couldn't wait to leave as soon as she could after high-school. "St. Francis has, like, 1500 people, if that," she says. "I graduated on a Tuesday and left that Friday." This was not an uncalculated move, mind you... her Mensa-level intellect and straight-A record had scored her a full-ride scholarship to DeVry University in Colorado. Technology fascinates her, and what really clinched it for the university gate-keepers was her essay on the interaction of technology with our society. "Yeah, I'm a geek!" she laughs.

So how has she liked the transition from small-town girl to big-city model? "It was very scary," she admits. "It's a completely different world. Driving, I was really afraid of driving. I'd never driven in a big city before, or any city!" But big-city folks' typical reticence was especially tough to get used to. "The hardest part for me was that not everyone talks to you... in a small town, everyone is at least nice to your face." With modest self-confidence, she allows that some of that is due to that intimidation factor experienced by lots of beautiful women.

Despite the culture shock, she's acclimatized very well... a deeply creative girl with wildy varying interests, she's now the lead singer and songwriter for the band Random Fate. "My main passion is my music," she declares. But we're happy that one of her interests is posing for the camera, and when Jenny dropped by the studio with her good friend Chandiss, she was happily welcomed into the sugartwist family...
