"I like being able to explore sides of myself that I don't show the general public," Kendall says, describing the allure of modeling, as she sits in an airport waiting for a plane to carry her home from South Beach... "It's a nice outlet for different personas within the whole Kendall. Definitely the sensual side comes out more...and the feistier side!"

Kendall says that her short year (so far) of modeling has really increased her confidence and positive self-image. "Seeing myself in a photo is so much different from what I see in the mirror every day; what I feel on the inside is reflected on the outside."

What goes on inside seems to be a theme for her...Kendall's a practitioner and instructor of yoga and meditation, and uses what she's learned to make a better world: "I like to help people," she says, describing her volunteer work for women's shelters and organizations like Planned Parenthood. "For women who have a hard time finding their voice, I like to facilitate that."

As for expressing her inner world physically, she's studied all kinds of dance, and indulges in it often: "African to ballet to hip-hop...and anything out at the club!" And of course, let's not forget the photo shoots!
