Meeting Chandiss is like finding a ruby in a bag of jellybeans... Caught unaware, you're suddenly punched in the eye, knocked out by her sparkle and color. Singer, model, dancer, fashion designer... every facet of this eclectic and creative gem throws off a different light. Only 20 now, Chandiss already has quite an impressive CV... her true passion is singing, which she started at a mere 4 years of age... Her first big gig was at 12, singing the National Anthem at a Lake Elsinore Storm baseball game, and she hasn't stopped there. One recent huge rush for her was a performance at world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where she sang freestyle over a DJ, before 7000 people. Her songwriting is deep (but not inaccessibly) and drenched with feeling, and every word is sung in a voice that soars from note to note, dipping down to a passionate whisper before rising again... "I want to be an inspiration for those who want to express themselves freely," Chandiss says. "My music is about the things that people go through, the shadow and the light." No musical slouch, she's already a keyboard player, and is busy learning the guitar. She's on her 3rd album now, and major-label negotiations are underway...

Fashion design is another pool she's dipped her foot into... until recently, she was member of the design team i can.d, and is now working on launching her own eponymous line. The metallic turquoise outfit she's wearing in these shots is of course her own work, and true to sugartwist form, is barely street-legal sexy...
